Boondein bhi to aaye nahi baaz yahaan

Ishq maange ishq chaahe koi toofaan
Chalna aahiste ishq naya hai
Pehla yeh vada humne kiya hai

Nange pairo pe angaro

Lagta hai ke gairo mein
Palti rahi haaye

Mulk tera hai
Jahil zamana
dushman mera hai
haaye
O re piya haye (5)
Guru: The Dance Teacher
She: Madhuri
He: Felix D'Alviella
The song succeeds in revealing the true feelings of a woman and the ambiguity of her thoughts, which starts with the rhetorical question that why did the crazy soul has begun to fly and from where did this courage come from. The whole song is addressed to her beloved. She complaints to her beloved about the breeze teasing, taunting and trying to play havoc with her and even the raindrops won't stop doing the same. Requesting her beloved to walk slowly on the path of love, even though "Love" wishes and demands for a hurricane, for things to go fast and uncontrolled. It is funny that she asks for it because deep down in her heart even she knows that she won't be able to control herself when she will be around him. The last stanza may seem rebellious but it is true to the last word of it. It is true that when we fall in love the whole world seems alien to us except our beloved. Here, she feels that she had been living amongst strangers and pleads to take her with him, to his land, away from this cruel and ignorant world.
Well the song ends here but the story doesn't. Before ending the song, a small conversation between Madhuri (Heroine of our story) and her Guru is shown in the picturisation. In which I liked two things. One, the dialogue of the Guru about morality and two, the decision of our heroine to go with Steve (the betraying beloved of our story). Her act of visiting the Guru even after she had decided to leave with Steve, and then asking him, whether it is correct for her to do so or not, clearly depicts the turmoil in her mind. There is much more romance in the picturisation of the song but will discuss about it sometime later.
